Hi Sylvia :-) And very nice and interesting Vodcast. My husband and I were watching the Video this morning, and we reached to the conclusion that the creole language spoken in Limón- Costa Rica, indeed is diminishing from our culture and province because of evolution in the language, interculturalism, because this generation is not aware of its importance, because of lack of information and so on. But even though we are few, lets try to maintain that which is ours ( part of our history and roots )and teach our generation to love, respect and appreciate this precious language given to us by God through our ancestors. God Bless You and keep up the good and excellent work in behalf of the ELT. Teacher Guiselle Weelkly
Hi!!! Sylvia your Vodcast is very interesting, specially because it deals with a particular issue that is related to us(in our home town Limón-Costa Rica) and that has been forgotten by many and unknown by some.
The Aim is that this generation will understand that we have a history, we have a part to play in this world and that their language( the Creole )is unique and has value. Their God-given language that emerges from generation to generation, as a priceless gift that cannot and must not be sold. Keep the good work colleague and God Bless you and family as you endure to give your very best to the ELT here in my beautiful province, Limón*CR!!! Go negris :-)
Thanks a lot for creating this vodcast and sharing it with everyone in creole English from Limón, Costa Rica. It was a pleasure having you in my class and learning from you!
